A film shouldn't cater to just one category of the audience it must have many aspects to satisfy the audience. There should be sentiment, entertainment, mass elements, etc., and only then there will be a good result says Surender Reddy, director of Oosaravelli. Many things worked for the movie, especially the importance given to the heroine in the second half of the film.
The director adds, "I was deliberating on the title, it was Tarak who felt the title was just right. Tamanna too did well, I am expecting an award for her work in this movie. Many people are saying this one has been inspired by an English movie but the fact is I draw inspiration from not just one film but many films. Kick is being made in Hindi and most likely I would be directing it. Oosaravelli too has caught Bollywood's attention and Ranbir might be apt for Tony's role."
