Desaniki Okkadu is the dubbed version of Ilaignan, 75th film written by Dr. Kalaignar M. Karunanidhi and 50th directorial from Suresh krishna. Pa. Vijay turns action hero with this movie. With a large cast boasting of talent, the story set in the sixties, revolves around a shipping factory owned by Devanayagam (Sarath Babu), a considerate soul.
Great effort has been taken to make the film with a ship of majestic proportions. Remya, Namitha, Meera Jasmine, Sarath Babu, Suman, Nasser and quite a few stars familiar on the Telugu turf will be seen in this movie. Songs are by Vennelakanti, music by Vidyasagar. Produced by Mallana. The film is due for release this month.
