A film's success depends on many factors but of late a satire on popular faces in the industry is drawing crowds. While Director Sreenu Vaitla has made such comedies his forte, other directors are following suit. The antakshari scene in Gabbar Singh where a thug is asked to sing out a popular number from movies is undoubtedly the highlight of the film. Not that people hadn't seen this imitation of Dr Rajasekhar and Jeevitha before, but the fact that the director/actor chose to take it one step ahead by showing it on screen and the dialogue between Pawan Kalyan and Ali ridiculing their mannerism though funny was in bad taste.
The couple Dr. Rajasekhar and Jeevitha are being approached by channels to react on the film that they haven't seen but heard about it. Jeevitha downplays, "Siva Reddy had become popular and had made a living by imitating us on the stage. We are happy for him, we heard that the same act was repeated in Gabbar Singh. If that is true then we are equally happy for Pawan Kalyan too for using us to make some money and churning out a successful film after such a series of disasters. A satire is fine as long as it doesn't offend anyone."
True but there is no guarantee that the actor couple will not take potshots in their next film on Pawan Kalyan and his quirky mannerisms.
