"The media has been spelling my name wrong, It's not Vedhika, it is Vedhica Kumar," says the Kannada actress who went missing after Baanam. Currently she has signed a thriller with Sumanth to be directed by Chavali Ravikumar. About the gap she says she was busy with commercials all this while and had done an ad film with Karthi that was directed by Shaad Ali of Bunti Aur Babli fame and the cinematographer was PC Sriram. With the actor's sibling Surya she worked for Sunfeast which was handled by Priyadarshan that was followed by another one, Chennai Shopping Mall with Tamannna with whom she says she bonded well.
"If I wanted I could have got into any film but I am particular about doing a decent movie," she quips.
