Yamudu, the Hari directed riveting cop tale that was made in 4 languages was a resounding success in each of its version considering that it had a racy script powered by an intense screenplay. If Ghajini helped the Brothers star Suriya establish a fan base for himself in the Telugu industry, a flick like Yamudu was good enough to multiply the count to yet another level. This has prompted the makers to ensure a sequel to it that additonally has Hansika Motwani in its starcast alongside the presence of Anushka.
Titled Singam-Yamudu 2, it will only enhance the impact and impart more lavishness to the celluloid than the original, Lakshman Kumar who had bagged the dubbing rights of the film for a huge sum, quoted. Devi Sri Prasad will have the Journey and SVSC actress Anjali dancing to one of his compositions in the flick, set to be out in the markets by June 23. VT Vijayan's editing prowess backed by Priyan's cinematography are expected to set the screen ablaze for this drama that borrows the services of Shashank Vennelakanti for his dialogues.
Meanwhile, the producers are vying for a slot in the theatres on July 5.
