Another Kaur Makes Her Debut In Telugu Films

"After Charmi and Poonam, I think I'm the third Kaur to make my debut in Telugu films," says the warm and affectionate Ritu Kaur. The lady is born in Punjab and has been raised in Birmingham in UK for 18 years. There is something about movies that attracts and she couldn't hold the temptation and she travelled by herself to Mumbai to try her luck there. She actually wanted to model and even walked the ramp back home but feels 5 feet 6 inches is no great height.
But why did she try Telugu instead of a career in Hindi films? Ritu heard from her friends who have been in movies that the experience they had with producers and directors in Mumbai was very bad, she was warned and informed that it was wise to get a foot hold in the south and then be back in Mumbai to command and demand films and respect. Ritu went to Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting School to get an idea about acting before signing the Telugu film with Sivaji.
