Mumbai girl Rachana Maurya grew up idolizing, imitating Sridevi and Madhuri Dixit, so it comes as a little surprise that she's made a career in the movies. How did she get an entry in Telugu movies? "I have already done couple of videos in the Hindi film industry and became a worldwide hit, one of my friends a choreographer asked me if I were interested in doing a song in Pawan Kalyan's Bangaram and I said yes. That was followed by one in Souryam and then one in Mitrudu, now I have done one in Nandeeswarudu."
Rachana says her career isn't that great but not bad either, it's happening well. She would be more happy doing lead roles. She adds, "If you do a song in Hindi movies there are high chances you might get a lead role but it isn't the case here. I want nice songs but not unnecessary exposing."
