"I never celebrate on the 31st of December, It's my father's death anniversary. I just stay at home," says popular comedian Brahmanandam. This year he is looking forward to Dammu and Adhinayakudu but refuses to bet on any movie.
"Our job is to just work and get home. Don't you think Tatas and Birlas would have already made an entry into the movie industry if they knew which film would work out at the box-office? Athreya once said that it is easy to know the existence of God but it's difficult to gauge the pulse of the movie-going public."
The actor says he is not in a hurry to direct a movie though he is thoroughly inclined. Making movies he avers is a time consuming process, one has to sit at home and dwell over that project and that also means leaving all the offers that come our way. He says he is waiting for an opportune moment, the subject is not what one expects him to direct, it will surprise many.
