The gorgeous Aksha churned out a surprise by doing a remarkable job in Kandireega but after that one hardly heard of her. Resting in Mumbai, the actor says she has age on her side and wouldn't want to jeopardise her career by signing any inane film that comes her way.
She adds, "If you get one hit film, you are appreciated and there are a lot of films that come your way. You either sign back to back films and make lots of money or take one at a time. I'm just 19 and I am keen on having a long standing career."
Aksha has a grouse on media, she avers that the filmi scribes always ask her which film she has signed but never find out how many offers she had rejected. "After Kandireega I have refused seven films and I'm not absolutely proud of that. No person, artistic in nature would like to sit idle at home. I'm waiting for the right film so that I can dub and give my character a better perspective.
I have a lot of respect for this industry which gave me so much, why not give hard work to a project that is only worth it. My birthday is on Jan 24th and I hope this year herald's a fresh beginning for me."
