R. Thanga Prabhakaran has produced Malligadu on Lightbox Entertainments banner. It is being presented by Studio Green KE Gnanvel Raja. The film is releasing on March 2nd and the hero is Karthi who has worked in Yuganiki Okkadu, Naa Peru Shiva and Awara and endeared himself to the Telugu audiences.
Karthi says he is indeed very lucky to have worked in Malligadu which can be compared to great love stories like Premabhishekam and Maro Charitra and portraying the character of Malligadu has given him immense satisfaction. Priyamani the leading lady said the original version Paruthiveeran was a golden jubilee hit in Tamil Nadu and hoped the magic would be repeated here too.
It can be noted that this was the movie that got Priyamani a National Award. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja, dialogues and songs by Vennelakanti and Shashank Vennelakanti. Directed by Ameer.
