She gushes, "A lot of people are surprised when they see me off-screen. Prabhas thinks I'm hot and should be working as his heroine and not a mother. Our south Indian filmmakers are not ready to accept that mom's are modern, cool and are differently dressed and behave differently at home with the children. It's been ages but they still prefer a huge bindi, hair tied in a knot and a pallu over her shoulder, always restricted to the kitchen looking crestfallen."
She nevertheless recollects getting married in a filmi style. "He was the director, I met him in the morning and by evening we tied the knot."
