Meera is a portrait artist, he worked as a drawing teacher and loves the work of Bapu. He says he compiles all his movies even his flop films and watches them regularly. Meera has worked with Gunasekhar for Varudu and with Prabhu Deva for Pournami, now his debut film as director is all set for release.
Titled Vidheyudu, it has Anand (of Photo) and Rachana Malhotra in the lead roles. Meera talks to CineGoer.com about Vidheyudu. In his own words..
"Vidheyudu is an obedient person. My hero is a big shot. The film shows how the current generation becomes busy and forgets to value human emotions. It is not like SJ Surya's movie, this is an entirely different subject..about how a person transforms himself, his journey from a mechanical life to a real life. I have conducted a workshop for the hero, and spent one a half month to teach him to walk and squat like a rich man. Rachana Malhotra has lot of energy and she can express well.
Inturi Vasu, who worked as a director for Amrutham serial, plays the role of a manager in the film and ARC Babu who worked in Chakravakam, Ruthuragalu plays a father's role. Karthik, who worked with Devisri Prasad has scored music. There are five different songs, duet, item, mass, devotional, melody. Veturi had written three songs and two of them have been penned by Vanamali."
