Home > Gallery > Events > Swarabhishekam's Unit Press Meet Swarabhishekam, which is made under the banner of Sri Rajarajeswari Combines in the direction of K Viswanath, has won two National Awards - Best Telugu Film and Best Music Director. To celebrate this occastion a press meet was held by the film's unit at Filmnagar Cultural Club, Hyderabad on the morning of 14th July. K Vishwanath, Srikanth, Naresh, Sivaji, producers Kousalyendra Rao, Harigopala Krishnamurthy, Ashok kumar, singers Sunitha, Parthasarathy and others participated in the press meet. K Vishwanath in his address said, "I would like to thank the producers for having waited for so long to make the film in my direction. I don't believe in making films for awards. I am happy that the film won two awards at the national level. It's a miracle that the film didnt have a successful run at the box office. There is no truth in the fact that I never cared for a film's commercial success. Vidyasagar worked hard for the music of the film. I congratulate him on his fine achievement. I hope Srikanth wins the Best Actor award next year." Kousalyendra Rao said, "I am happy that we have won two National Awards in our very first attempt. We established this production house to make films with good values. We knew that the music of the film would win an award. Everyone in the unit worked with passion. Though the film was not a commercial success, it gave us complete job satisfaction." Srikanth said, "I am happy to have worked with Vishwanath garu for this movie. All the credit should go to him. I am happy that along with this film I even won a Filmfare Award for my performance in Shankardada MBBS."
