The music of Bapu's Sundarakanda, composed by Vidyasagar, was released at a grand function at Ramanaidu Studio, Hyderabad on Saturday, January 26, 2008 in the presence of the cast and crew.

Ramanaidu released the audio cassette by handing over the first copy to Nizam Distributor Guru Nath Reddy. Later, VV Vinayak released the audio CD. Financier Satya Ramesh received the first CD.

Prominent among others present were Jayalalitha, Lakshmi Pathi, Goutham Raju, Duvvasi Mohan and Vizag Prasad.
