Produced by Yelamanchi Ravichand (who produced 'Shiva' with Pradeep) and directed by Shyam Prasad, the film stars Sivaji and Ankitha in lead roles. Goutam Raju (editor) sounded the clapper-board, Anjibabu (of Mount Opera) switched on the camera and Dr D Ramanaidu directed the muhurat shot on Sivaji and Ankitha. Speaking on the occasion, Yelamanchi Ravichand said, "This story by Shyam Prasad is written keeping in mind the image Sivaji has among the audiences. We are planning to release the film in January 2006." Shyam Prasad informed that the film is a violent love story but chose to be tight-lipped about the details. Sivaji said, "My role in the film is different from what I have done earlier. I am indeed fortunate to get this role at this point of my career." Ankitha said that she is playing a modern girl in the film that has scope for performance. Yelamanchi Muralidhar informed that the film has all the commercial elements.
