Premiste Press Meet
The press meet of Bharath-Sandhya starrer 'Premiste' (the dubbed version of Tamil Kadhal) was held on the morning of 24th September, 2005 at Taj Banjara, Hyderabad. Producer Suresh Kondeti, director Balaji Shaktivel, writer Ramakrishna, Bharath, Sandhya, Sumanth, Maruthi and Subramanyam graced the occasion.
Speaking on the occasin, Bharath said, "Shankar is like my guru. He introduced me to the film industry with 'Boys'. Kadhal is my first solo hero film. The original Tamil version was a huge success. I hope it works well in Telugu too."
Ramakrishna said, "The film is based on a real-life story that happened in Madurai. It has excellent lyrics by Veturi and an equally complementing music by Joshua Sridhar. The climax of the film will be one that will forever be emblazoned in the minds of cinegoers."
Suresh Kondeti said, "I was moved by Sandhya's performance in the film and decided to dub the film in Telugu. NV Prasad was the one who initially bought the rights of the film but I convinced him to hand over the rights to Kadhal to me."
Balaji Shaktivel said, "I will always be grateful to Shankar for giving me my first break." He also thanked Suresh Kondeti, Sumanth and Maruthi for dubbing the film in Telugu.
Sandhya and Subramanyam also spoke on the occasion.
