The music of Manyam Entertainments' Muni, the Telugu dubbed version of the Tamil film by the same name, was released at a function at Rock Gardens, Madhapur, Hyderabad on Wednesday, February 14, 2006.

Nagarjuna, the chief guest of the evening, officially launched the music and K. Raghavendra Rao received the first cassette.

Speaking on the occasion, actor-director Lawrence said, "It was Saran who introduced me to Tamil cinema. I am glad that he is producing my first film (Tamil version) as well. Action sequences composed by Super Subbarayan will be a highlight."

Also present were Vedika-the female lead of the film, Kamna Jethmalani, ML Kumar Chowdary, S. Gopal Reddy, Siva Balaji, cinematographer KV Guhan and Mohan Mahendra.
