The music of Bharat-Mallika Kapoor starrer 'Maha', directed by Vijay Milton, was released at a grand function held at Durgam Cheruvu, Hyderabad. VV Vinayak released the audio cassette and Gopichand received the first cassette. Devisri Prasad released the audio CD and Bharat received the first CD.

Ankita, Tanu Roy and Pooja Bharati performed at the event. But the highlight of the evening was definitely the impromptu dance performance of Allu Arjun.

Apart from the producers of the film - 'Bunny' Vasu, Maruthi Sivathama and Sumanth, those who were spotted at the music launch include Allu Aravind, Aswini Dutt, Gowri Munjal, B. Madhu and writer Sri Ramakrishna, amongst others. 'Maha' has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Aditya Music has acquired the music rights of the film.
