Amidst much fanfare, the muhurat shot of Eshwari Films Pvt. Ltd.'s debut production, starring Prabhas & Nayanatara in lead roles and directed by VV Vinayak, eventuated on Friday, April 7 at Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. Chief Minister YSR sounded the clapper-board, while Venkatesh switched on the camera and Krishnam Raju directed the first shot.

A galaxy of the top names in industry were present: they included KL Narayana, D. Suresh Babu, Allu Aravind, EVV, C. Kalyan, Chalapathi Rao, UV Suryanarayana Raju, Dil Raju and Pradeep Rawat, amongst others.

Also present were Director-General of Police, Swaranjeet Sen and makers of the film - P. Ravindranath Reddy, P. Chandra Pratap Reddy and P. Sudharshana Reddy.
