Evadi Gola Vaadidi 175 Days Function
The silver jubilee function of EVV Satyanarayana’s comical hit 'Evadi Gola Vaadidi' was held at Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad on 16th July. The function started with lighting of lamp by Ramalakshmi, mother of producer Lagadapati Sridhar, in whose name the production house was started.
Dharmavarapu Subramanyam conducted a variety comedy show as the first program. All the comedians present at the venue participated in this program. Later a quiz program was conducted among the technicians. Veteran writer DV Narasa Raju judged and selected eminent writer Janardhan Maharshi as the winner. The producers through Narasa Raju presented the winner with a 10gm gold chain.
Later eminent director K Raghavendra Rao and veteran producer D Ramanaidu felicitated DV Narasa Raju. Lagadapati Rajagopal presented a shield to Narasa Raju.
Sridhar in his speech said, "Narasa Raju was the first to congratulate me for making this movie. With his blessings this movie is celebrating its silver jubilee. That is why we are showing our respect towards him."
Narasa Raju said, "I told only one thing to Sridhar. If your first film is successful the industry revolves around you and I am happy that my word has come true. I have become indebted to Sridhar hence I am dedicating my autobiography to him. I wish Sridhar would complete 100 films soon just like Ramanaidu."
Ramanaidu said, "I predicted that this film would complete 100 days. Now I am happy that it has become a silver jubilee movie. I wish Sridhar's next movie Style would also celebrate its silver jubilee. Also I wish Sridhar to become the producer of 100 movies soon."
Lagadapati Rajagopal was all praise for Sridhar in his address. He said, "Hats off to Sridhar. There is a dialogue in this film uttered by Dharmavarapu - 'kaachi vadabosta'. Sridhar is of this type. I wish many more successes to Sridhar."
Then SV Krishna Reddy, Lawrence and N Shankar together gave a memento to the film's director EVV Satyanarayana. Hero Jagapathi Babu gave mementoes to the exhibitors while Jayasudha and Lawrence gave away the mementoes to the unit members and directorial staff respectively. SV Krishna Reddy and Charmi presented shields to the rest of the cast.
Also present at the function were B Gopal, Sirisha Sridhar, Murali Krishnam Raju (Maa TV), Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy, Maganti Babu, KS Rama Rao, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, Madhu (LANCO), LB Sriram, Krishna Bhagavan, AVS, Aryan Rajesh, Jayaprakash Reddy and others.
