'Devadasu' Audio Release Function
The music of YVS Chowdary's 'Devadasu', starring Ram and Ileana in lead roles, was officially released at a glittering function held at Ramanaidu Studios, Hyderabad on 27th November, 2005. Guest of the evening was Nandamuri Balakrishna, who officially released the music of the film. Earlier, Dr D Ramanaidu unveiled the logo of 'Yuktha Music', a music company floated by YVS Chowdary in the name of his daughter Yuktha.
Present at the occasion was an entire cast and crew of the movie that included producer-director YVS Chowdary, actors Ram & Ileana, cinematographers Bharani K Dharan & Madhu A Naidu, composer Chakri, writer Chintapally Ramana, lyricist Chandrabose, action director Vijay, editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao, art director Anand Sai, executive producer Kommineni Venkateswara Rao amongst others.
And the other guests were Ramesh Prasad (of Prasad Labs), Devi Vara Prasad, KL Narayana, EVV, Sravanti Ravikishore, Trivikram, Boyapati Srinu, Srinu Vytla, Surender Reddy, SS Rajamouli, Lawrence, Dasarath, Maganti Babu, Udaykiran, Venkat, Navdeep, Ankitha, Sindhu Tolani and Chalapati Rao, amongst others. Bhargavi and Simha anchored the event.
Speaking on the occasion D Ramanaidu said, "In these conditions, it is a bold move by YVS Chowdary to establish his own music company. He did not compromise at any point. I hope the film came out as he intended."
YVS Chowdary said, "The film has nothing to do with ANR's classic by the same name. Chakri has scored some good tunes. There are 11 songs in the film. Ram and Ileana, the lead pair of the film, have a good future ahead of them. We are planning to release the film on January 11. The decision to float my own music company is not taken in a rush. I guess it's my belief in the music."
NBK said, "YVS Chowdary is a producer with great courage. He draws inspiration from NTR." He wished the lead pair all the best.
