Damini Entertainment Pvt Ltd Prod No 1 Opening Function

The muhurat of Damini Entertainment Private Limited Production No 1 was held on the morning of 12th October, 2005 at Padmalaya Studios, Hyderabad. Produced by GV Prasad (son of late G Hanumantha Rao) and directed by SV Krishna Reddy, the film stars Rajendra Prasad, Srikanth, Siva Balaji, Pranathi and Sindhu Tolani in lead roles.

Union Minister Dr Dasari Narayana Rao sounded the clapper-board, MS Reddy switched on the camera and Krishna directed the muhurat shot. Lead players Rajendra Prasad, Srikanth, Siva Balaji, Pranathi and Sindhu Tolani faced the camera.

Speaking on the occasion, SV Krishna Reddy said, "The film will be shot in a single schedule starting 27th October, 2005 and will be ready for release by January 14th, 2006. Janardhana Maharshi pens the dialogues while I score the music."

Rajendra Prasad, "You can't spell life without lie. This is the theme of the film. SV Krishna Reddy and Rajendra Prasad. The combination spells success. I hope this movie does well too."

Srikanth, "This is my 11th film with SV Krishna Reddy. The last time I worked with Rajendra Prasad was during 'Kshemanga Velli Labanga Randi'. Let's see if we can recreate that magic again."

Siva Balaji, "This is my first film with Rajendra Prasad while I worked with Srikanth in 'Sankranthi'. A combination like this is very difficult to find. I like humor a lot."

Dialogue writer Janardhan Maharshi and producer GV Prasad also spoke on the occasion.
