Home > Gallery > Events > Chukkallo Chandrudu Opening Function Chukkallo Chandrudu Opening Function The muhurat function of Creative Commercials latest venture 'Chukkallo Chandrudu' with Siddhartha as hero was held in Hyderabad on the morning of 24th August, 2005. Popular producer KS Rama Rao presents this film while his son Vallabha is producing it. The muhurat shot was taken on the four main leads of the film - Siddhartha, Charmee, Sada and Saloni. Chief guest Mani Ratnam gave the clap for the muhurat shot. Veteran actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao, who is playing a vital role in the film, switched on the camera. K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot. Speaking on the occasion, KS Rama Rao said, "This film comes from our banner after Vasu. Siva Kumar is making his debut as a director with this film. Both Siddhartha and Siva Kumar have worked as associates for Mani Ratnam. They have good experience. Siddhartha came up with a novel concept and I liked it a lot. Siva Kumar, with the help of Kona Venkat, further developed the concept. ANR okayed it after listening to the story. He is playing a vital role in the film. Waheeda Rehman is paired opposite him. Chakri is providing music for the film. Two songs and a part of another song will be canned in Switzerland. Abhik Mukhopadhyaya, who won the Best Photographer award in the national level, is also making his debut with this film. Shooting for the film begins today and lasts until December 10th, 2005, and the film will be released next year in January, tentatively on the 14th." Siva Kumar said, "I am feeling lucky to work with a big producer like KS Rama Rao. He gave me a good team to work with. I hope the film comes out well." Siddhartha said, "I received many offers after NVNV but I have been waiting for the right concept. During that time, I prepared the script for this film. I hope this film will be a milestone in my career. Kona Venkat said, "Siddharth is a multi-talented person - a good singer, a brilliant dancer and a good story writer. If we can utilize at least eighty percent of his talent, I am sure we can come up with a hit." Vallabha said, "All the roles in the film suit the actors playing them. MS Raju, Kodanda Ramireddy, Arjuna Raju, KC Sekharbabu, ML Kumar Chowdary, M Satyanarayana Reddy, KL Narayana, K Anil Kumar, NV Prasad, Atchi Reddy, N Ramalinga Raju, DVS Raju, SV Krishna Reddy and others were present at the occasion.
